Joint Management piloted
During the Pilot year of the Joint Master, the joint programme management was tested as well. This entails amongst other things:
- Rotating scheme of visiting teachers for compulsory modules
- Communication between the locations
- Testing the ICT environment for students and teachers
Every school has its own location coordinator and the programme is managed by the programme manager based in Groningen.
The development of the Joint Master finished as of October 1, 2009. In order to implement the programme, ensure further development and sustainability, a new Steering Group has been installed, consisting of members of the management of the collaborating institutions.
The chairmanship will take place on a rotating basis. The Steering Group works with a business and managerial plan which has been devised during the development of the programme. This plan consists of a joint budget, a model for programme management, procedures for exchanges of teachers and students and a agreement on collaboration.
