Pilot Year
During the academic year of ’08-’09 the pilot year of the Joint Master took place. Parts of the whole programme were tested as well as the management and instruments of the Quality Assurance.
All schools offered two or three of the compulsory modules during the pilot year. In addition, mentoring and the IT-environment have been tested. Some institutions also piloted a range of optional modules that had been newly developed for the Joint Master.
There hasn't been a joint admission procedure for the pilot year: all institutions were responsible for their own admission procedure. The admission procedure for the upcoming academic year is being tested at the moment.
The course brochure of the pilot year is available in print as well as digital. The digital brochure can be downloaded
here.
The students that took part in the pilot year could receive a certificate, stating which modules have successfully been taken. Some of the schools gave out credits in order for the pilot year students to earn a master’s degree at a later stage.
